This vote will set an unfavorable precedence for car lifts in Venice– period. Is this what our community really wants? The unsightly lifts will only add 30 parking spaces at the expense of one our neighborhood’s most beloved murals and further deteriorate the artistic spirit of our community. We need parking in Venice but instead of sacrificing our artistic community character, let’s tell Mike Bonin to hold developers accountable for skirting the Venice community out of countless of parkings.
